So yesterday, we were talking about hydration and the right ways to hydrate yourself after a workout.

If you missed the interview, you can read or listen to it here.

And today, I want to tell you a little bit more about Lucas’ Yoga Water-E. In fact, I’ve been using it for the past 7 weeks and I have to say that this stuff is awesome because not only does it replace the lost electrolytes but it also makes your water taste really good.

Because essentially here’s what happens with most water…

If you drink distilled water, all of the minerals and everything else has been stripped away during the boiling/distillation process.

This leaves you with a bland tasting, dead water.

Similarly, you have reverse osmosis–which is what I personally use–but again it removes a lot of the taste and a lot of the benefits from of the water.

Thirdly, we have good old bottled water which in most cases is simply bottled tap water. And add to that the fact that most bottled water nowadays is coming from companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Nestlé…

No thanks.

I personally rather drink tap water, but then again you’ve got the issue of chlorine and all those other nasty little critters coming into your body.

So that’s one of the reasons why I really enjoy Lucas’s Yoga Water-E.

For me, it makes a lot of sense to add additional minerals–and these are naturally occurring minerals–to my water considering I use reverse osmosis.

So not only does it add vital electrolytes that I do not get in my normal reverse osmosis water, but it also makes my water taste heck of a lot better.

Anyways, I’ve put together a new video that gives more information on Water-E, while showing how simple it is to add to your water.

Enjoy…

And remember, Lucas has been cool enough to offer my special friends (which includes you) a complimentary bottle of Yoga Water-E.

Today, I spent most of the day with Amy and the dogs in Port Perry.

We were visiting my mom, who was in town from Calgary (she recently bought a place in Port Perry but still lives in Calgary), and took the afternoon to walk down the 1 street downtown known as “Queen St.”.

Port Perry is a very nice town and it’s right on lake Scugog which makes it even more appealing.

Here are some pics from down by the water as we played with the dogs in the fallen leaves.

Picture 1 – Amy standing by the water. This could make a really cool blown up framed picture.

Picture 2 – Amy standing by a tree.

Picture 3 – Jax and Laila running over the rocks do jump in the water despite the fact that it was only 5 degrees outside! Yes, they are crazy!

Picture 4 – My little buddy Jax.

So that’s a little rundown of my Sunday.

This weekend was filled with tons of yummy food – we ate at several really good restaurants – so going for a nice 2 hour walk in Port Perry was a much needed way to spend a Sunday.

What did you do?
