    Hello Yuri, I am an overweight 16 year old and I know that this program can really help get lose this weight. I have tried losing weight a couple of times and I failed because I lacked motivation. The weight would come off a little, and then the weight loss would stop.     I don’t think I’m any more deserving of winning this than any other person who has entered – everyone has the right to be fitter, healthier, and better. I would like to win a free copy because I have a family history of diabetes, heart disease, and a rare disease – coronary carcoidosis.     Just over three years ago, after a lifetime of being sedentary and overweight, I had finally gotten myself in great shape — low body fat, strong muscles, finally did a 5K in under 30 minutes … when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Six months of chemo and a month of radiation took its toll on my body, and despite training (and becoming a triathlete!), I am still not as fit as I was the day I was diagnosed.     My husband needs to get back to his “old self” and would definitely benefit from your program as he loves to work out, but not on my terms, he likes a mans appoach to fitness. He just turned 50 this year and is feeling that he needs a little boost. I am on the other hand a PT myself, and just had to sell my business as i had to relocate. I want to keep fit and trim a few kilos off as the stress of the move piled some on. It woule be really great to use your program for this. Then there’s my daughter who started University this year.     I’m a 16 year old boy, who has been either fat or skinny-fat his entire life. 3 months ago I’ve been going through a 6 month revalidation period from a serious operation. I knew it was time to change my life, I wanted the teasings to stop, the bad comments, get some attention from people instead of being ignored al the time, get stronger, having a bit of self-confidence…
    Since 3 months I’ve set powerful goals, been working out with someone who’s experienced and muscular, planning almost evrything in my life, giving all I got in the gym, been trying to develop a success mindset as you’ve explained.
    The last year I’ve noticed that my body isen’t responding as it should be… my hormone levels (especially testosterone) is below the minimum! I’ve been operated again today and have to revalidate for about 3 days, I’m hoping that this will help me.
    My dream to compete in an natural show is being ruined by this problem, as I’ve said before, I’m working out 10 times as hard as some friends and they’re growing (putting on muscle or leaning out) twice as fast.
    While I’m giving evrything I got, sacrificing alot of things for bodybuilding/weightlifting/fitness, my genetics are playing around with me… I hope that Fitter Than The Pros will finally be a solution for this problem and give me the chance to be someone in my life.

    Hi Yuri. I have always had a weight problem. Recently I lost 16kg. I was feeling exstatic, healthy and loving life. Exercising hard as well, and then for no apparent reason the weight just went back on. I didn’t change my diet or any thing to make this happen. Now I can’t seem to lose a pound. I have a very healthy diet(raw, but the weight just doesn’t want to budge.     During my early teen years I had some serious weight problems. I achieved a significant improvement on my physique the last years by intuitivly implementing a lot of the stuff you teach via your youtube channel, mostly from a diet perspective. I also grew passionate about a new sport in my life, volleyball, which of course helped me get where I am now.
    Why I’m interested in ‘Fitter Than the Pros’?
    The reason is twofold:
    First, turning 21 10 days ago I realized I hit a plateau. Although achieving a more or less average physique I’m stuck. I haven’t been able to go from mediocre to the ‘1 percenters’ as you call them. The way you promote ‘Fitter Than the Pros’ and plan on implementing it in the University of Toronto soccer I think it might well be the thing I’ve been looking for to give me the edge.
    Second, and somewhat overlapping, I believe that ‘Fitter Than the Pros’ will help me, as team captain, inspire my team and give me extra insights. I’m hoping your program will give us that extra. All teams are physically, technically and tactically good but this might be our chance to ‘bridge the gape’, as you would say, between the goals we set our self in the beginning of the season and creating the mindset to achieve them!

    Hi Yuri!

    My name is Anders. 29 years young from Norway. 176 cm, 72 kilos. I played soccer for seven years until I was 14. Then I did some boxing and got heavily into bike trials until I was 20.

    I have been following your videos on youtube for quite a while, getting tips on training and nutrition. They were much better tips for me than most other sources I could find.

    Then I downloaded the “7 wonders”-pdf file, and I was sold! This is exactly what I have been looking for. I have good genes for athletic stuff, but I had a very psychologically abusive childhood and was literally in an extreme way taught everything opposite of the stuff you (and your pros) are talking about.
    I have been living “on the bottom” for about 7-8 years. I weighed 106 kilos. I basically ate as much as I could fit into my stomach (mostly snacks) and smoked as much as I could every day for several years, alone. About two years ago I realized I needed to change now, my survival instinct kicked in I guess. I starting FORCING myself to do some exercise and eat less, not fun at all!
    But this brilliant stuff about changing the mindset is pure gold for me. Now I am training cardio an hour before breakfast and and hour strength training every day. And I eat clean and high protein. My abs are starting to show (hooray!). I have kept this going without slipping for about 3 weeks, and need to keep this going, I don’t want to go back to hell! Because of your “stuff” it is almost easy now compared to before when I had to force(torture) myself.

    With this I have the energy to pursue my dream of becoming a professional musician. I have been playing the drums since I was 9.

    I seem able to get my self motivated for the time been, but when i get to work and don’t see any result’s, i come back crashing Down worste then i was before. When i do get motivated, i seem to over train, i threw out my shoulder once. But, i belive this program would help lots, because.. Yes, i have been trying to achive a six pack for six months now.     I have lost 83 pounds in the last year, but I have been left with a lot of wrinkly hanging flab on my arms and rest of my body. Currently, I am lifting free weights and using the Shake Arm set, as well as treadmill walking and abdominal exercises. I need a program that will give me the results that will make me want to keep doing it for the rest of my life. Without a special training program, I fear that my weight will creep back up to where I was before and I don’t want that to happen. I like myself thin, but I’d also like myself toned and my regular exercises are not getting the job done.

    I have been on a plateau for almost a year now. I feel as though I have tried everything, and I just can’t seem to move past a certain weight. And I don’t believe that 140 is a healthy weight for a 5’1″ woman.

    I was here about a decade ago — about the same weight, unable to get any lower, also for about a year. And eventually I gave in, gaining about 30 lbs.

    I won’t give in this time no matter what, because I know how unhappy I was 30 lbs heavier. I want so badly to be at a healthy weight. Feeling comfortable in my skin and having the energy I want are the real goals — looking good is just a bonus.

My background might shed some light on this behaviour. Having faced much personal loss with the very premature death of both my father and eldest brother from heart disease, and the discouragement at the age of 32 years being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, one wonders who writes the script.     This program would make a huge difference to me as a tool towards achieving not only the weight loss that has so far eluded this 35 year old “fat boy”. I usually find a slip up in at least one of the key areas of exercise, nutrition or (more often than not) motivation. I know even the Pros are facing these sort of challenges (after all they’re only human, too). So to get their input into how they stay on track and focused in these areas would no doubt enable me to succeed as well.

    I’d really like to win this. I can’t seem to get past talking about losing weight and getting in shape. I go to the gym and workout but due to muscle tightness I don’t make much progress. It seems I can only get so far then tightness flares up and sidelines me or I’m afraid of injuring myself even further. I am very interested in bodyweight type exercises, anything away from what is a traditional workout. I want to workout where the whole body is involved not just certain muscle groups.

I am a motocross racer and i am just really trying to get into the best possible shape i can be in and i feel like this is perfect time for me too. i just finished highschool, and i ran distance for the last 2 years of my life,(only to be in better shape for motocross).   75. I’m requiring FTTP at this point in my life because I am have faced some massive challenges lately in all aspects of my life, some I have passed; others I have failed and now the impact to my day to day life is so severe I’m requiring a fresh start.
    I found Yuri Elkaim on YouTube originally, at the time I started back in the gym. I always enjoy having Yuri’s voice in my ears giving motivational advice, his Canadian accent regulating me. I found running very boring without Treadmill Trainer and although I knew about Interval Training, it never seemed a possibility without a much needed aid. I absolutely love the mp3 download culture and always look forward to new products from Yuri Elkaim.
    One of my main problems is that I am unable to strategise, I cannot plan life as I don’t have a fixed routine. With Yuri’s help I could change my life for the better, and learn from THE fittest pros in the world. Having Yuri as a Guru would be a great way for me to get in better shape and keep me from getting burned out or unmotivated. I could even listen to Yuri while I’m getting my much needed relax time in bed instead with him huffing and puffing on the treadmill! I’d also like to get stronger so I could do other sports like football or rugby at a more intense level – and Yuri has guns!

    While I keep myself reasonably active and in general happy with my fitness, I always find it hard to increase muscle size and strength. Not training hard enough and insufficient protein intake is probably my downfall. I’m blessed: no illnesses in over 10 years & healthy diet, about 25 lbs overweight but the exercise/mental stamina seems to be where I fall of the wagon. 5 years ago, not being a runner,I trained and fund raised $5,000 for Am. Stroke Assn and “walked” a marathon at Kona and finished at 14 min/mile. Having the group to train with forced me to be there reaching my goals and I certainly couldn’t let down all the contributors for my cause by not finishing! Now I’m aging and the weight is becoming a problem and I want to refocus on going into my last half of my life and learn how to take your info into my 60s-80s-90s!

I have struggled with my weight all my life, I developed an eating disorder that resulted in me losing a lot of weight. i got help a few years ago and was on a more balanced eating regime and workout schedule. I was feeling really good about my body until last September. i started gaining weigth for no reason, I eat mostly raw foods and am a vegan plus I exercise 6 days a week. I have now gained almost 20 pounds and cannot lose a pound for the life of me. I developed food intolerances which are also causing havoc on my body.     the reason I’M DESPERATE for Fitter Than The Pros.

    Every day I am bombarded in each direction that i turn
    by those who claims that EXCERCISE causes flab to crah and burn!

    I did jumping jacks and sit ups, i even went out and baught that darn machine the one that garantees in 30days i’d be trim and fit and lean…

    I put it in the extra room that we affectionately call the “gym” with all the other paraphenlia that will one day make me slim!

    Ab mats for doing crunches a small tramp in place, that awful go nowhere pedaling bike that only leaves me red of face.

    I have workout clothes and sweat bands to. I even have a “get-fit” Coffee Cup! BUT that scale hasn’t budged an inch. Therefore i’m on the verge of giving up!

    So brother Yuri, I really need The Fitter Than The Pros programme beacuse I am sick of feeling the way that I am.

    It took me since 7:30am here in the UK to come up with something different and hopefully grab your attention in a funny way. Thank you for everything you have done for me so far over the past 2 and a half years.

    Hey Yuri, I’ve been tuning in for a few months so far, and I can’t thank you enough of how much you already motivate and inspire me to be a healthier person. Through exercise movements to educational info, to life motivation, you deliver it all.
    I’ve been leading a workout group with some co-workers of mine for about a year, and I feel I always have to keep motivated to set the example for my trainees. Through constant research online I try and keep myself growing as an individual so I can share what I learn along the way. I think I would be a great candidate for the Free set because I love helping others, and I love seeing the difference being a healthy person makes to their overall life. I believe that to succeed, one needs to be Consistent and Patient with their workouts, and that your health is worth the sacrifice you need to make in order to achieve your goals. Also a big factor for me is I commute to Los Angeles daily, which comes out to be an average of 2 and half hours of drive time, which would be a perfect time to pop in a disc and get educated!

    Yuri, you have been an excellent coach for me. I have radically reorientated by eating and fitness activities over the last six weeks and have never felt better. For me a HUGE change was dropping cafeine out of my diet. I used to drink multiple coffees and Lattes. I thought I was doing fine since I was using Splenda instead of sugar. I know better now. I am eating lots of salads, fish, grass-fed beef and free-range chicken. No more “healthy” foods from anywhere but the periphery of the grocery store or better yet the Farmer’s Market. I have also fallen in love with green, white and herbal teas. Thanks. I look forward to learning more about fitter than the pros.

      Why I need Fitter Than the Pros. . . I’m 47 and have a wonderful wife and two great kids. I want to be around for a very long time to enjoy all three of them and know that I need to lose weight and get into shape to ensure that the second half of my life is filled with eager expectation of whatever is in store for me and mine tomorrow, instead of dread at whatever new ache or pain is next.     Hi Yuri, The program sounds so great. I am 66 years old and my husband and I have been travelling full time in our Airstream trailer for 10 years. Lots of good tasting food out there between the cinnamon rolls of Alaska to the Spanish-Mexican type on the way down to Panama. Results at 5’2″ I weigh 180 lbs. I started working on this last month and am down to 180 from 186. We finally built our dream home last winter but it is small so we put in a metal spiral staircase and it is much steeper than a regular stair so the first thing I did was break the bones in the metatarsal arch of my foot. I still make it upstairs to exercise and have been lifting weights to get some strength back in my shoulders and arms. I don’t really know what I am doing here but I know the Fitter than the Pros program would really help. Thanks for all you do. Together we meet at a local park at 6:30 and workout together.       The reason why i would love to get free copy of your program:
      So far I’ve lost 81 lbs. I’ve lost those pounds by eliminating meat from my diet and by running. I’ve completed my first half marathon this spring (and now training for another for this fall) and also slowing becoming raw.
      I have 25lbs left to lose and would love to have your program to help me reach my ultimate goal.

    Well I just woke up one morning and I decided to change everything about my life for the better. I guess i hit rock bottom and I decided enough is enough..So 8 months later through Intense training gave up the smokes the drink etcetc and Its been somewhat of a rollercoaster ride and a juggernaut experience within me an unstoppable force. I just don’t ever want to stop learning and becoming fitter more and more..It’s the best thing thats ever happened to me and with your help and inspiration maybe I can become a pro too..Running my first marathon in Dublin in October too..I can’t wait..:-)

    My husband and I are both in our upper 50′s, and we have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle. He has high blood pressure and high cholesterol and suffered a stroke a couple of months ago. I have been interested in eating this way for the past year, and we just finished a 7 day detox drinking water and only eating raw food.   130. I just finished the wellness cleanse as well having been referred by Isabel through DSP! It has changed my life and my families. I have lost 10 pounds and not yet to my goal of 30 pounds. The health problems that doctor’s had no answer for but a pill have gone and my quality of life has increased greatly! When someone complains to me about their health problems and aching backs I ask what are you eating and are you excercising? They don’t like the response but I’m a living testimony!     I have just begun you TT-intermediate…it’s awsome, but my knees are killing me!! Ok, just the left one really. My knee cap is prematurely wearing out. I’m not sure if I continue jogging if this will have a very negative affect on my knee. I want to keep pushing myself(I have a tendancy to do this)but don’t want the pain and swelling to hold me back. I am a soon to be 39yr old single mom who is still trying to get back my body after having two children. I am on anti depressants and really want to get off them..I know my weight is a huge factor on how I feel about myself, which is horibble!!!And reflects on how I am with my kids. I want to do so many things with them, I just don’t have the self confidence to do half the things I dream of doing. I am embaressed to go to the gym, a membership that I am holding on to, for the plain fact that feel inadequate. I think I would greatly benefit from any program that you have to offer just by listening to your running workouts. I have a goal on what I would like to look like at 40 years old…40 pounds less!!!

    I am 79 and had 3 back surgeries the past 1 1/2 years. Healing has been slow.Stretching and daily workouts at the YMCA have not made a dent in the constant pain I have, trying to stay in upright posture.I need a much more efficient fitness program. I am frustrated because I can’t spend half the time I used to in activities with my friends, since I now tire easily. I want to be much more active, eliminate pain, rebuild bone, muscle and cartilage, and regain the joy of living. I am a full time tutor, a writer, a dancer, and a dramatist.     I have exercised regularly for 25 years but it was aerobic to videos and running. One year ago I came across your site and downloaded your exercises and listened to your videos. I am 56 years old, I have never had a serious weight problem, but as I was going into menopause I was bothered by my stomach wanting to pooch out. Ever since I have done your workouts I have not had that problem at all. My stomach stays flat. I know now that interval training really works. Thanks for all the great information you give. Because i can not regain Any more funtion in my body I can only make my mscles stronger by working out. (So i do).     I have had a neuro problem with my lower limbs and have never been able to get into running. The struggle has always been frustrating and easily given up. With the Treadmill trainer I have already advanced to the intermediate level and am almost moving to the advanced. The slow progression and coaching is amazing.
