Going through a raw food detox diet or simply eating healthier may not be the easiest thing to do. For many people, it’s more than just changing the foods you eat.

Food has become an emotional “go-to” tool when we feel stressed, bored, anxious, and many other emotional states.

And that’s one of the biggest reasons that going through a detox diet can be uncomfortable for some people.

One woman recently asked me if it was normal to feel anxious while following a raw food diet. She had struggled with a poor diet for many years and was now finding it challenging to stay on course with her new healthier ways of eating.
