Building a nice physique while training for soccer is a bit more of a specific topic that we’re going to cover. This question came from another one of my youtube fans.
He wrote:
“Hi Yuri, I was wondering if you could help me..
I am an 18 year old football ( soccer ) player and would like to improve in my physique and not lose speed..do you have any tips for me?”

In fact, this is one of the biggest obstacles I’m constantly trying to work around as the strength and conditioning coach for the men’s soccer program at the University of Toronto.
How do you build strong and powerful athletes (in the weight room) while not detracting from their “on-field” speed and performance???
