3 Health and Fitness Lessons from Racing My Car on Mosport

Last Tuesday, I was invited to race my car around North America’s fastest race car track – Mosport.

Cool part is that it’s only 20 minutes away from my house. Hmmm….maybe I’ll make a few more visits :)

Anyways, other than being in my glory racing around the track at 205 km/h, I took away some really valuable health and fitness lessons that I’d like to share with you today.

You might be asking what racing has to do with YOU and your health and fitness goals, right?

Well, as you’ll see, it has everything to do with it.

As you watch this, think about how these lessons can apply to your life. I’d love to hear your comments below.

Here’s a quick recap of my day on the track…

Be sure to listen to the instructor as he gives the play-by-play of what to do. It’s invaluable.

    Thanks for encouraging message Yuri,
Perfect timing,I’m in the states in Texas , memorial day.
First I thought this will be a lazy day and not going to get my pre-healthy cooking done & work out! Then heard your message and decided I can do all healthy habits and still spend quality down time w/ family. # 2 Get Out of my comfort zone, test limits is a big one for me : )
God bless you and yours,Angela Kilcrease

    Yuri,
I really enjoyed todays post. Just back from a long weekend in NYC.
Great fun but now finding it difficult to get back my “focus”.
Your analogy to race car driving , focus, limits and following better path are just want I need.
I want to recommend a book you and possible others who like racing will enjoy.
” The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein.
Thanks again for helping me get going this week.
