Ah….
The joy of working out with a kettlebell.
If you’re like me and enjoy exercising outdoors or with minimal gym equipment, then the kettlebell could be your best training “friend”.
But be careful, if you don’t use it properly, it can be dangerous.
So to show us how to use a kettlebell properly, I’ve call upon my friend and kettlebell expert, Chris Lopez to share some of his wisdom.
In this video, he’ll be teaching us:
* How to select a kettlebell,
* How to hold a kettlebell, and
* 2 common mistakes people make when training with a kettlebell
Enjoy
In tomorrow’s video, I’ll have Chris demonstrate 2 of the best kettlebell exercises. Stay tuned.

What would be an ideal starting weight for a Kettlebell? I am 190lbs and 5’10 former Ironman triathlete. Thanks in advance. Karl

I would say an 8-12kg bell would be ok for you to start with. Tomorrow’s video will show you 2 exercises that are great for starters.

Very interested in learning this, even at age 70! If you didn’t record both “days” on the same day, may I strongly suggest that you cover your mics with a wind screen (just a simple foam cover – you can make one yourself) to eliminate the very distracting wind noise that was evident in this video.
